Law enforcement released dramatic video Wednesday showing a high-speed chase involving a vehicle occupied by armed suspects that took police off-road into fields and onto the runway of the town's local airport. The incident occurred on the morning of May 19. Three people were arrested following the pursuit, but one of the passengers has been released from custody, officials say. Police recovered a loaded firearm from the scene. An investigation revealed the suspects "were contemplating shooting at the pursuing deputies in an attempt to back them off." According to officials, this was the third high-speed pursuit this vehicle has been involved in since early May.
