On Tuesday (10/7), a quick thinking 10 year old girl saved her younger brother when he began choking on candy while jumping on a trampoline.
In a Facebook post, Lavon Police Department wrote "Thanks to the lifesaving skills she had been taught by her mom from the Lavon Babysitter Club instructor guides - including abdominal thrusts (formerly called the Heimlich maneuver) - Leah knew exactly what to do in that critical moment. And because of her quick thinking and courage, her brother is safe today."
