The bizarre moment was captured on video when the tiny rodent grabbed a long, tube-shaped treat and began shoving it into its cheek, determined to fit the impossible.
At one point, the snack could be seen bulging from inside the hamster's mouth as it struggled to push it in further.
Despite the alarmed owner quickly intervening, the little glutton still looked eager for more.
The footage was filmed in December 2023, in Sichuan, China.
