On February 1, 2026, in eastern China's Shandong province, a video recorded an incident beside a small river. One dog had fallen into the cold water and struggled near the edge. Another dog on the bank grabbed a small tree branch with its mouth and extended it toward the dog in the water. The trapped dog bit onto the branch.
With repeated effort, the dog on land pulled backward, slowly dragging its companion closer to shore. After several attempts, the dog in the water was successfully pulled out. Once rescued, the wet dog shook off water, and the two dogs ran away together.
