説明

These giggling footy fans used their snoozing mate to play 'human Buckaroo' by stacking PRINGLES into his open mouth - when he dozed off after supping pre-flight pints.

Funny footage shows Joe Harrison gingerly balancing the crisps into Matt Priest's open mouth as after falling asleep shortly after taking off from Manchester Airport earlier this month [Nov 18th].

The six-strong group set off on a five-day trip to North Macedonia to watch England play in the UEFA Euro qualifiers and after downing some airport beers boarded their flight.

Once onboard their midday flight 30-year-old Matt fell fast asleep and his mates decided to make their own onboard entertainment.

After snapping up a £3.50 mini can of Pringles from the trolley, Joe, 27, tentatively stacked six of the curved savoury snacks into his mouth one by one as the other watched on giggling quietly.

At the end of the 45-second clip electrician Matt jolts forward sending the crisps flying into his lap without waking up.

The funny stunt was captured by friend Anthony Stericker who was sitting in the row across from him on the flight.

Buckaroo is a children's game in which items are placed on a plastic donkey without disturbing it - as it could kick everything off at any minute.

The 32-year-old said Matt remained unaware of the spontaneous stunt until he was shown the video after landing.

Anthony, from Longridge, Lancashire, said: "I saw the prank half-way through and I whipped my phone out. It was just as spontaneous as it looked.

"I think they got six Pringles in his mouth before they fell out, they were the sour cream and chive ones.

"It was £3.50 for a tin so it was quite an expensive prank for him but it was well worth it.

"I was just gobsmacked that he was able to balance all these Pringles in his mouth without waking up, but I think the couple of beers in the airport had removed his inability to feel anything.

"Once they fell out, we just left him to sleep but in hindsight we should have tried again and tried to get more in his mouth.

"Matt had no idea that they were doing this prank. I showed him the video when we landed and that's how he found out about it.

"I think he was just left with a bit of a foul taste in his mouth."

Matt said he woke up just before landing and discovered Pringle crumbs on his lips but had no idea why.

He said he didn't feel his mate stacking crisps into his mouth but found the stunt funny when he was shown the video a few hours later.

Matt, also from Longridge, Lancashire, said: "I'd had a late night the night before and then a couple of pre-flight beers and I managed to nod off for a few minutes during the flight.

"I had no idea they were doing this on the flight. I only found out when I was shown the video by Anthony afterwards.

"They were sour cream and chive Pringles, which are my favourite ones.

"When I saw the video I laughed and found it funny because it was something I'd do to them.

"It was a very good trip. I didn't eat much apart from those Pringles, it was a trip filled with a lot of beers.

"I just woke up with lots of Pringle crumbs around my lips and I was wondering what had gone on. I wasn't shown the video until after we had landed."

Since filming the funny prank, Anthony uploaded the video to TikTok where it went viral and racked up more than seven million views and 300,000 likes.

One person commented: "How can you sleep like that on a plane?"

Another said: "Should have flipped one upside down and made him look like Donald Duck."

A third added: "The best part is the gentlemen laughing in the window."
