A CCTV video showing a minor involved in a near-fatal accident went viral in Colombia. The mother of the 18-month toddler saved her baby from falling over a rail at a high-rise office building in Medellin. The incident took place at the fourth floor of the Laureles Colonial building where the construction company Monserrate is located. Fortunately, the mother of the toddler, who had stopped at the lobby to check her cell phone, was able to pull the baby from a certain fall on time. A mail carrier who happened to be there also rushed to help. The administration of the building ordered extra security screens along the rails of the stairs after the incident. The woman went to run an errand at one of the offices, but the Monserrate company stated that the accident happened outside their property in a public section of the building.
