Wounded lioness shows softer side by adopting a helpless wildebeest calf. Lions had killed its mother moments before. The terrified child emerges later but instead of making the defenseless infant the dessert, the lioness's maternal instincts take over and protects it from another lion's attack. Other tourists at the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda, later reported seeing the calf running around unharmed. The video was shot by Indian tourist in Uganda in 2013.
