The incident took place in the district of Huarochiri in Peru and affected the central highway that connects to that area.
Surveillance footage from inside one of trucks shows the horrific landslide that sent huge boulders rolling down the hills and onto the highway. The driver abandoned his vehicle just before the rocks started to crush the truck.
Another truck got also hit by the massive rocks, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The area had been hit by several storms days before the landslide. Authorities believe that was the main cause of the landslide.
It took the emergency crews several hours to reopen the busy highway.
