This dramatic footage shows a lorry driver cheating death by inches when his broken-down lorry is rear-ended by a speeding bus flipping it over inches from him.
The high-speed collision was captured on a dashcam on the Guangzhou-Zhaoqing Expressway in South China’s Guangdong Province.
In the video, the blue coach can be seen travelling towards the broken-down lorry when its driver tries to veer away, having apparently noticed the vehicle at the last second.
But the front of the bus crashes into the back of the lorry, sending the wreckage spinning on the motorway hard shoulder and threatening to crush the unnamed lorry driver, who can be seen standing nearby while waiting for help.
He jumps out the way as his lorry is destroyed right behind him, with the bus slowing down further ahead and causing what reports said was a 4-mile traffic jam.
Footage taken in the aftermath of the accident shows the front of the bus to be badly damaged, while the lorry cargo is also scattered on the ground.
None of the coach passengers was understood to be seriously injured following the crash, which is still being investigated by local police.
