This video liked more than seven million times online shows a loving husband sitting down on the floor of a hospital and letting his heavily pregnant wife sit on his back.
The footage, believed to have been filmed in a hospital in Hegang, in north-eastern China’s Heilongjiang Province, shows the couple waiting in the hospital corridor for a pregnancy check-up.
The heavily pregnant wife with a bulging belly appears to pace around in much discomfort and struggles to remain standing due to fatigue and her apparently numbing legs.
She holds on to a wall railing but her husband spots her pain and sits down on the floor right next to her.
He sits cross-legged and asks his wife to use his back as a chair.
The video shows the pregnant spouse getting some relief by resting on her loyal husband, who also offers a drink of water from a flask.
Social media users touched by the gesture noted she did not use the apparently unoccupied seats nearby that may have been too low down or been too small.
Commentators noted her legs may have been too numb to walk, or it may have been too much of a struggle to stand up again afterwards.
