This incredible dashcam footage shows a foam box falling out the back of a lorry twice on a motorway before ricocheting off the tarmac and bouncing back inside each time.
The bizarre incident was captured on camera by motorist Xu Zun, who has shared incredible images from Taiwan’s Provincial highway 61 with Asia Wire.
Mr Xu was driving over the township of Fangyuan in Taiwan’s western county of Changhua when the amusing incident happened on Tuesday (2nd June).
The footage shows the loose Styrofoam box wobbling in the wind in the back of the small delivery lorry when it suddenly falls out onto the road.
But the light box strikes the road surface and bounces back up before being blown back into the lorry by the wind.
Amazingly, this happens a second time just a few seconds later, Mr Xu’s video shows.
Mr Xu said: “The lorry owner stopped on the hard shoulder after the box fell out the second time. He noticed it himself.
“He had noticed it the first time round, too, because he slowed down.”
Wang Chen-hao, with the Changhua County Police Department’s Traffic Police Brigade, said that failure to secure or cover cargo on a motorway can lead to a fine of between 3,000 and 6,000 TWD (80 and 160 GBP).
The lorry owner in question is not thought to have been fined over the incident.
