This man takes the most unusual selfie videos while bungee jumping with a completely emotionless expression on his face and no trace of fear at all.
The ex-paratrooper, identified by his last name Tian, shared a video of himself bungee jumping while holding the phone in front of his face on social platforms, in the city of Hengshui in the north Chinese profince of Hebei on the 5th March.
In the footage, Tian is seen preparing for a bungee jump and then the video cuts to selfie mode that records his face during the fall.
The man has his eyes completely open and does not move a muscle during what would be an adrenaline-fueled extreme experience for most people.
Tian said that he used to be a military parachutist and was discharged two years later.
As a paratrooper he was trained to jump out of airplanes and use a parachute to land safety on the ground.
He admitted than before he joined the Air Force he was afraid of heights but he quickly overcame his fear.
He believes that after the military training, he has a stronger psychological control over his body.
Tian, who is currently working as a bungee instructor, shared the video on the Chinese Tik Tok and it has spread across the net.
User ‘SZTT123’ wrote in the Chinese news platform Toutiao: “He is a paratrooper, no wonder he was calm.”
Another user ‘Eagle Sky 9’ said: “Paratroopers are not afraid of parachuting at a height of thousands of
meters. Why would they be afraid of bungee jumping from tens of meters?”
And user ‘Yu Yu Shenghui’ commented: ”If you have poor blood pressure or if you are faint-hearted, don’t try this!”
