This is the moment when a speeding motorbike runs in front of a loaded forklift that almost overturns, hitting on the breaks at the last minute to save the biker from almost certain death.
The shocking scene was captured on the streets in the city of Foshan located in the south Chinese province of Guangdong on 16th March.
In the video, the forklift that is heavily loaded with wooden planks is forced to abruptly hit the brakes when an electric bike drives in front of it.
The biker, who did not notice the forklift until the last moment due to another car blocking the view, passed under the forklift's arm and luckily avoided the planks.
He then jumped out and abandons his vehicle but the forklift tilted forward after the sudden stop and almost overturned because of the heavy cargo that crashed on top of the electric motorbike.
The bike was buried under the wooden planks as the biker watched from a safe distance, realising that would have been his fate had he not escaped in time seconds before.
But fortunately, the young biker dodged the danger at the critical moment and no one was injured.
That cannot be said about the electric bike which was damaged when it was crushed by hundreds of kilogrammes of cargo that poured on top of it.
According to local media the forklift driver, identified only as Zhang, was also to blame as it was carrying overweight cargo, which also caused it to tip forward.
It was not reported if any of those involved would be facing any charges.
Regardless of whose fault it was, both drivers miraculously got out of the incident without harm.
