This is the moment a driver reverses through a drinking spot and crashes into a cafe as customers run for cover after getting his foot jammed on the throttle.
The Volkswagen hatchback had been parked in a disabled bay outside the bar in Santa Maria, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, on 17th February.
But as it reversed to make a U-turn it just kept going right through the glass doors and into the cafe.
Security CCTV cameras show people ducking behind pillars as the VW cruises straight through the bar and into the restaurant.
As the car ploughs on, it smashes tables and chairs out of the way as terrified waiters and other staff leap out of its path.
It only comes to a stop when it reverses into the food serving station ramming it along several yards and sending bottles smashing to the floor before the engine finally stalls.
The unnamed driver later told police, who are investigating the crash, that his foot had got stuck on the accelerator pedal.
