This footage shows a man drifting around a frozen pond in a pickup truck before the vehicle suddenly falls through the ice.
The incident took place in Novopodkletnoye, in the Voronezh region, in Russia.
The video, which was shared online on 24th February, shows the white pickup truck drifting around on the ice and kicking up a plume of snow as it races around.
But all of a sudden, the ice beneath it breaks and the car falls through.
The images then cut to the vehicle half-sunk into the water, with the man filming heard trying to catch his breath after apparently running to the driver's aid.
The driver reportedly escaped unharmed.
It was unclear if the driver, unnamed, had managed to tow the pickup truck from the water.
