Footage shows the rider rapidly accelerating on a horse across a zebra crossing, but the horse is hit by a car, the rider falls, and the animal runs away in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
This is a the bizarre moment a horse and rider galloping over a zebra crossing are sent flying by a car when it fails to stop.
CCTV and dashcam footage from Magnitogorsk, southern Russia, on 22nd June shows the rider racing full pelt over the busy dual carriageway crossing.
But one Lada car turning into the junction does not stop and clips the horse's hind legs sending it flying.
As the horse rolls over onto the pavement its rider is sent flying through the air crashing painfully to the ground.
The horse jumps back up almost instantly and canters around a grass square until the footage comes to an end.
Astonishingly, city traffic police say the 43-year-old male rider escaped without a scratch and his horse suffered cuts.
Police are studying video footage of the collision.
