This is the moment a would-be romeo clings to the bonnet of a woman's car as she drives on the motorway while ignoring him as she claims he follows her around.
The incident was filmed by a motorist in the north-western Russian city of St Petersburg and later shared on social media.
The unnamed woman claimed: “I wanted to park near my home, but he followed me and jumped on the bonnet.
“I know this guy, and absolutely did not want to talk to him, he is crazy. I went about my business and tried to ignore him and he probably grew tired.”
She also claimed that he constantly watches her at home and work and regularly sends text messages.
The woman said: “How do you treat such a person? I tell him that I do not want to communicate with him and he says ‘let’s be friends’. I say, ‘I don’t want to be friends with you’ and everyday he asks ‘why don’t you want to be friends?’”
In the video footage, the woman is seen smoking a cigarette as she drives along a busy road with the man clinging onto her bonnet.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman drive for over a mile and a half until he eventually hopped off her bonnet.
It is unclear whether she has reported the man to the local authorities.
