This footage shows a petrol tanker being engulfed in a huge explosion as three men run for their lives escaping the inferno's blast in the nick of time.
The incident was filmed in the city of Chelyabinsk in the south-western Russian region of Chelyabinsk Oblast when two fuel trucks with a capacity of 30,000 litres were loading up the petrol pumps.
According to eyewitnesses, one of the fuel tankers caught fire and exploded, quickly consuming the other tanker next to it.
In the dramatic footage, the two stationary tankers are seen either side of the petrol pumps.
Flames burst out of the top of one of the tankers and a huge fireball forces three workers to run clear.
Meanwhile, the flames consume the other tanker which also appears to catch on fire.
According to local media, the incident affected a 200- metre (656-foot) area and one tanker driver was injured after suffering a head injury for which he was hospitalised.
Reports said that workers tried to extinguish the blaze but to no avail, and a team of firefighters was sent to battle the flames for over 20 minutes at the affected petrol station.
Meanwhile, the local authorities evacuated people in the surrounding area as a safety precaution.
It is unclear what started the first explosion and the investigation is ongoing.
