This is the terrifying moment two women narrowly escape death when a balcony suddenly collapses above them.
The near miss took place in Lavrio, a port town in south-eastern Greece, shortly after 3pm on Tuesday, 7th October.
Footage captured from two different angles shows the moment the balcony of a two-storey building gives way without warning, sending concrete and debris crashing onto the pavement below.
In the background, a woman is seen standing under the structure while talking on her phone before sprinting away just seconds before the collapse.
Another woman, who was about to get into her car parked directly beneath the balcony, looked up and ran for her life as the structure gave way.
She escaped unhurt, but witnesses said she would likely have been killed if she had entered the car a few seconds earlier.
The collapse sent chunks of masonry and dust across the street, damaging several parked vehicles outside a pharmacy on the ground floor.
One woman suffered minor scratches but did not require hospital treatment.
Residents who heard the loud crash rushed outside to help, describing the scene as chaotic as smoke and debris filled the air.
Police and emergency crews later cordoned off the area while engineers examined the damaged structure.
