This is the moment a dumper lorry with a full load and no brakes shoots down a hill at high speed and crashes into 12 vehicles in a chain collision.
A security camera recorded the lorry travelling downhill before it loses control and ploughs into multiple cars and a public bus in the neighbourhood of Robledo in Medellin, Colombia, on 22nd November.
The footage shows the heavy vehicle continuing its descent as it crashes into vehicles one by one, leaving extensive material damage along the road.
Officials say the lorry was carrying 17 tonnes of material at the time of the crash, which involved 12 other vehicles.
One of the vehicles ends up embedded in a lot next to the road due to the force of the crash.
The authorities confirm that three people were injured and were taken to medical facilities.
The injured include a bus driver and two occupants of a private vehicle, all reported with light injuries.
Pablo Ruiz, secretary of Mobility of Medellin, said that 12 vehicles were damaged, including one confirmed as a total loss.
He said that 20 traffic agents and judicial police were at the scene to establish the cause of the crash.
Preliminary information indicates a failure in the braking system of the lorry, a hypothesis that technical experts will now analyse.
