This is the moment a powerful blast blows an apartment door off its hinges after a dog accidentally turned on the kitchen stove where its owner had left a spray can.
CCTV footage shows the explosion erupting inside a flat in the city of Novosibirsk, in Russia, on 28th November.
The video shows a shockwave bursting from the flat as the blast blows the entrance door into the hallway and shatters the glass in the interroom and balcony doors.
The footage also shows smoke and debris filling the corridor immediately after the explosion.
Officials said the owner had left a can of insect spray on the hob before leaving home.
When no one was in the flat, the dog turned the stove knobs, with teeth marks reportedly found on the controls.
The aerosol can heated up and ruptured, causing the explosion.
Fire damage affected wallpaper and part of the kitchen unit on an area of around 0.1 square metres (1.07 square feet).
Emergency services said the fire self-extinguished, preventing more extensive damage.
The dog was not injured and was on the balcony when they arrived.
Authorities reminded residents to switch off electrical appliances before leaving home and to activate child or pet lock features on stove panels.
They also warned against leaving items on stovetops that could trigger accidental ignition.
