This is the terrifying moment a motorcyclist cheats death as a gigantic boulder crushes his bike seconds after he jumps clear in what locals described as a 'Christmas miracle'.
The rockfall took place on the main road in the municipality of Dabeiba, in the Colombian department of Antioquia, on 8th December.
Security footage shows riders pulled up outside a house before a loud rumble signals the boulder breaking free from the hillside.
The rock bursts onto the road and crushes the parked motorbike, blocking both lanes, seconds after the biker runs away upon realising what is happening.
Local reports said the incident happened at around 10:00am and the rider, not named, was not injured in the incident.
Residents said the boulder stopped close to nearby homes, prompting fears over further instability.
Emergency crews worked to remove the giant boulder and assess the slope after recent heavy rain increased the risk of new landslides.
Authorities urged drivers to avoid the route while checks continued and reminded residents to report signs of ground movement to emergency hotlines.
Locals described the escape as a "Christmas miracle" given the size of the rock and the fact that no one was injured.
