A rare all black deer was spotted munching on trees just six metres away from a photographer.

Jakub Wencek was joined in Barycz Valley Landscape Park, Poland, by a melanistic fallow deer that didn’t have the usual light brown and white dots on its fur.

Stunning footage captured the 60kg animal stretching the full length of its body as it wandered out of the long grass.
