An octopus used its camouflage to instantly change colour once it landed on a reef.
Ayman Shalaby was diving off Dahab, Egypt, on January 5 when he spotted a common octopus swimming just above the seabed.
Mesmerising footage shows the cephalopod initially blending in with the white sand below it while being flanked by two goatfish.
