Took place in Istanbul, Turkey on28 Feb 2018. According to the technical report, the belt was broken. Just before the accident escalator's power was off and wasn't working but people were still using. Then electrician power was on and the accident happen.

According to report Metro security placed warning sign but the passengers did not pay attention. Emergency service spends over than one hour get back injured the passenger. Injured person Ali Erik discharged 2 days later. Only one guy injured, his left arm broken few smashes at his hip.
