Filmed in Nankang District, Taipei City on 23 June 2020 . The hamster “DaYing(agreed)” was living in the rodents adoption center. There, you can interact with the hamsters after you sanitize your hands. The filmer’s friend was doing a gun posture pointing at “DaYing”, surprisingly she was very cooperative and pretended to be dead. After posting this cute interaction video, she was adopted immediately. (The hamsters get frightened easily by sound or movements, it is a survival instinct of them to fake death when they are scared. In this clip the filmer didn’t make any sound but only a slow gesture. Please do not try to scare them, some actions we see as fun interactions can actually cause stress, anxiety-related diseases and even death of the hamsters.)
