This is the heroic moment a man hobbled across the living room to save his grandson from falling - despite having a broken leg.
The elderly man was relaxing with the two young boys in their home in Weifang City, Shandong province on February 17 when one of the youngsters tried to climb up the wooden TV stand.
As the two-year-old boy lost his balance, the granddad shuffled forwards - hopping on a single leg and using a chair as a makeshift crutch - to cushion the child's fall.
The boy cried from shock, but was not injured thanks to his grandfather's quick reaction time.
