A beachgoer left passengers on a passing boat utterly baffled as he appeared to be walking on water in this bizarre optical illusion.
Footage shows the holidaymaker with a pink inflatable around his hip while appearing to stand on the surface of the sea in Batangas province, the Philippines, on May 13.
The island hoppers who were on a passing vessel could not see clearly that there was a big rock under the man and wondered for a moment how he could stand there without sinking.
One of the onlookers Joshua Mandapat said: ‘We noticed him on our way to the next island We realised he was our friend. We were all laughing when we finally figured out about the large rock in the middle of the sea.'
