This is the incredible moment a smart Golden Retriever rescued a drowning pigeon from a garden pond.
The pooch found the exhausted bird floating on the surface of the water and picked it up in Samut Prakan, Thailand.
Footage shows the canine standing on the edge of the koi pool and biting the feathered animal on its feet before carrying it away from the watery danger.
The pooch, named Golden, put the pigeon on the wooden path where it rested and regained strength until it could fly away.
The owner said the pigeon is believed to have fallen into the pond then stayed floating in the water because it was exhausted.
