This is the bizarre moment a delivery rider trotted through busy traffic to send meals to customers amid a fuel shortage in India.
Phone footage shows the man, wearing a 'Zomato' uniform and carrying a delivery box of the company on his back, riding on the streets of Hyderabad, in southern India.
He waved to the public as made his way through busy traffic before he arrived at Chanchalguda, located next to the Imperial Hotel.
The unorthodox delivery method came as several local petrol stations ran out of fuel.
In the video, the delivery rider can be heard explaining to a passerby in Hindi: 'There was no petrol. I waited in line for three hours.
'I left after taking the order but couldn't get the petrol.'
Long queues had reportedly formed at stations across the city after residents rushed to stock up on petrol during an ongoing protest by lorry drivers over a new hit-and-run law.
Many had feared the protest would spark a massive shortage with no one to deliver the fuel.
A local petrol station owner told the media that the protest by lorry drivers has affected the fuel supply to petrol pumps in the city since January 1.
The new law states that hit-and-run cases could lead to a maximum of 10 years in jail and a fine of INR 700,000 (GBP 6,600), compared to the current penalty of up to a two-year jail term and a lighter fine.
Truckers and other commercial vehicle drivers are concerned about how they would afford such a high fine in case of a traffic accident where they might not have realised there had been an accident.
