This is the dramatic moment several pedestrians are knocked down by a powerful shockwave caused by an explosion at a streetside restaurant.
The incident unfolded outside a steak restaurant along Minchun Road in the Pudong district of Shanghai, China, on the evening of January 11.
Surveillance footage shows one pedestrian and a child standing outside the entrance, seemingly waiting for someone.
Another walked up the street and stopped in front of the restaurant, about the head inside.
Then, as a third adult walked out the door, a massive shockwave shattered the glass doors behind him and knocked down all the people on the pavement.
Debris flew everywhere as the accidental victims were pushed away several feet by the powerful blow and fell to the ground.
Miraculously, they all appeared to be unharmed as they got up just moments later and ran away in fear.
According to restaurant staff, the explosion occurred due to a sudden malfunction in the dishwashing disinfection equipment.
Two employees reportedly suffered minor burns. No other injuries have been reported.
Local officials have not clarified if there will be an investigation into the incident.
