The bizarre video shows a major crash involving at least a dozen cars that slammed into each other on a frozen motorway.
The multiple-vehicle collision unfolded on a motorway in the southwestern province of Guizhou, in China, on January 22.
The footage first shows a car storming on the ice-covered road at a fast speed, before veering to the right to avoid a vehicle pile-up ahead.
Seconds after the car crashed into the pile-up, a second car can be seen sliding on the left lane before hitting the traffic barrier and spinning several times.
A third vehicle can then be spotted slamming straight into it. Two more vehicles follow the same lead and end up taking part in the accident.
Eye-witnesses who were on-site at the time of the incident said there was nothing the cars could do to avoid sliding on the frozen motorway.
An emergency vehicle arrived soon after to treat the injured. Several people were taken to the hospital for further treatment. The road was closed off until further notice.
Tongren Highway Patrol later said that the accident site had been cleared.
