A gecko jumped onto a woman's face as she opened a sliding gate outside her home.
CCTV shows the woman opening the gate while the angry tokay gecko, perched on top of it, made its move.
As she slid the gate, the agile lizard scurried toward her and jumped onto her face.
She was shaken by the aggressive attack but dodged the reptile and suffered no injuries during the incident in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 5.
Tokay geckos have earned a reputation for being aggressive. They often attack when they feel threatened, over territory, or when sudden movements or loud noises startle them.
