A pedestrian captured a rare ultra-partial rain pouring down over one small part of the street.
Footage shows the downpour concentrated only on a small roadside area while the rest was dry with fair weather in the city of Xiangtan in Hunan, China, on January 28.
Footage shows the rain next to a parked grey BMW. It was only about the size of a manhole cover.
The filmer even turned the camera upward towards the sky to show that there was not some kind of a visual trick.
Ultra-partial rain is an isolated rain event potentially associated with unusual weather patterns or microclimates. It is often described as rain falling on one side of a street but not on the other.
