A mother and her daughter bravely fought off a pair of armed crooks who forced their way into their home and managed to chase them away, as this dramatic video shows.
The incident was captured on CCTV footage outside the two women's house in Begumpet, an upscale neighbourhood of the city of Hyderabad, located in Telangana State, India.
The video first shows the women rushing outside after one of the intruders in front of the house on Thursday afternoon, March 21.
He and another man reportedly broke into the home and fired several shots upon entry.
But the woman and her daughter courageously confronted them and managed to fight off one of them until he fled, as seen in the video.
Another woman then exited the house, watching the fierce duo follow the assailant to the gate where they began shouting for help.
Neighbours immediately came after hearing their pleas, where they witnessed one of the women dressed in blue, apparently the mum, chasing after the second intruder.
Four grown men who had come to help watched in awe as she went after him armed with a stick and drove him away.
Police were reportedly alerted and responding officers managed to catch one of them.
Not long afterwards, they reportedly arrested the other person as well.
Police withheld the identities of everyone involved but said the two suspects may have been acquainted with the residents of the house.
Begumpet authorities are currently investigating.
