The performer attempted to blow a fireball by spitting petrol onto a lit match during a wedding party in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, on April 22.
However, the flammable fluid also spattered onto him, causing the fire to spread and engulf his face.
Footage shows the boy's face ablaze as onlookers rushed to his aid and put out the fire with their bare hands.
The young man did not appear seriously injured from the stunt.
