A glorious shooting star whizzed across the night sky above Spain and Portugal.
Footage shows the mesmerising fireball of a meteor getting bigger as it streaked on the dark horizon as seen from Navianos de Valverde on May 19.
The celestial event was also spotted in different parts of the region, including Extremadura and Northern Portugal.
Josep Trigo, an astrophysicist from the Institute of Cosmos Sciences at the University of Barcelona, said: 'This was a remarkable sighting. The bolide was moving at an incredible speed of around 45 km/s and was visible from over 600 kilometres away.'
