This chainsaw-wielding lumberjack and his colleagues shrugged off safety measures - leaving him swaying in the air while felling a palm tree.
Footage shows the worker 30ft up the tree as he hacks away at the top half of the trunk in Saraburi province, Thailand, on April 22.
But when his friends pulled the rope to sever the branch, the tree shook, and he almost fell off before regaining grip.
He was not hurt and managed to clamber down from the nerve-wracking near miss with the power tool.
