This is the adorable moment a pet cat hopped on its hind legs while chasing its friend.
Ms Wang spotted her tabby cat, Shi Yi, running after its companion, Zhu Mi, by bouncing upright in the aisles of a store in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, China, on June 1.
CCTV footage shows the feline jolting towards its sibling.
The filmer said: 'I would have regretted it for the rest of my life if I hadn't captured them doing that.'
The posture of standing upright with both arms stretched forward looks like a Chinese Jiangshi, a type of reanimated corpse in Chinese legends and folklore, also known as the Chinese hopping vampire.
