This is the shocking moment a walker narrowly dodged a brick wall collapsing onto a road in India.
The man was holding an umbrella while wading through ankle-deep puddles when the barrier suddenly toppled over in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on July 31.
CCTV footage shows the wall falling down and damaging six parked vehicles nearby.
The resident's quick reactions saved his life and avoided the falling debris and bricks. He had a few minor scratches on his legs but nothing that required hospital treatment.
Officials said the wall collapse damaged two cars, an e-rickshaw, and other vehicles. No injuries were reported from the incident.
The local council blamed heavy rain for weakening the foundations of the wall.
According to reports, construction work is currently underway at Prayagraj Rambagh Railway Station, where a wall was built on the Malakaraj side.
The country has been experiencing severe rainstorms, leading to heavy flooding and landslides.
