This is the unexpected moment a starting pistol accidentally hits a cameraman during a sports event in China.
Footage shows an official looking away while firing the starting gun, causing him to knock down the cameraman at Nanling Mountain, Nanguan, Changchun, Jilin, on June 16.
Mr Wang, a track and field referee, was filming to check for any fouls and explained that the recall commander responsible for halting sprinters did not notice him.
He added: 'I was wearing long sleeves and a hat so I was not injured.'
