This is the shocking moment a ceiling collapsed while a father watched television in his living room.
CCTV footage shows the plasterboard sheet coming loose from its wooden rafters and plunging onto the floor inches away from the resident in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on August 13.
He promptly stood up when he heard a rumbling sound before a large panel crashed to the ground. His wife rushed to check on him but he was unscathed from the collapse.
The couple cleaned up the mess later and the ceiling was repaired later. They blamed shoddy home construction for the near miss.
