A reckless motorcycle rider ignited a lighter at a petrol pump, causing a nearby scooter to burst into flames.
An employee named Arun was reportedly filling the gas tank of the vehicle when he challenged and provoked Chiran, the intoxicated motorist, to light the portable device in Hyderabad, India.
This led to a sudden combustion, setting the two-wheeler ablaze.
Footage shows bystanders fleeing from the fire, with a woman and her child narrowly escaping the flames.
The suspect then dashed towards a burning item from the motorbike on the ground and kicked it, nearly striking a customer.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
Sub-inspector SK Mybelly said that both Chiran and Arun have been arrested and will soon appear in court to face charges related to this reckless act at the petrol station in Hyderabad.
Inspector G. Rudvir Kumar of the Nacharam Police said: 'This dangerous act not only put lives at risk but could have caused a catastrophic explosion, especially in this crowded area with heavy traffic.'
