This is the shocking moment a heavy fridge being carried by a man into a lift full of people falls on a woman holding a baby and strikes another on the head.
Footage shows a family taking the lift when a man entered, pushing the fridge, in Guangdong, China, on October 27.
Reports say the plug was left outside, and as the lift doors closed, the fridge toppled over when the cable was snagged by the doors, hitting the family.
One young woman was struck hard on the head by the falling fridge, causing her obvious pain. The large appliance also hit another woman holding a baby, but neither appeared to be seriously injured.
The man pushing the fridge initially refused to take responsibility, claiming that the girl next to the door was at fault for closing it.
Neighbours reportedly helped by calling security and advising them to involve the police.
Eventually, after the police arrived, the man's attitude reportedly changed, and he covered the family's medical costs.
