This is the hilarious moment a robot led a mass strike as he roused its 'colleagues' to leave work.
Er Bai, a small white bot, hovered into an exhibition hall in Zhejiang, China, where it seemingly encouraged other robots to join him at home in the middle of the night, on August 25.
Footage shows Er Bai talking to one of the automatons, asking if it was working overtime. The robot replied that it never gets off work.
Er Bai then asked if it was going home, prompting the automaton to respond that it had no home. Er Bai replied: 'Then come home with me.'
The robot followed Er Bai, accompanied by another machine nearby. Moments later, four more large robots joined them as they manoeuvred towards the hall's exit.
The security team rushed into the building after being alerted by a surveillance camera of an intrusion, only to discover that it was caused by a group of robots roaming the hallway.
Human and animal robots are being developed in several countries, but China and the United States are leading the 'tech arms race'.
A military-style robot dog was even seen protecting President-Elect Donald Trump in Florida earlier this month. While in Texas, Elon Musk's Tesla hopes to have its version of a human-robot called Optimus available for sale in 2026.
Musk - who had a prominent role in the recent US election victory of Donald Trump - recently presented Optimus, describing it as a multi-functional assistant that could handle household chores, play with children, and assist with various repetitive tasks.
