This is the shocking moment customers set a petrol pump alight due to a 'payment dispute.'
Local media reported that three men in an Indica car refuelled with diesel worth 500 Indian Rupees (approximately 4.65 GBP) had a verbal altercation with the petrol station staff in Lohagal, Rajasthan, on December 11.
Shortly after, the individuals returned with petrol in a bottle to set the place on fire.
CCTV footage shows two men approaching the pump station, dousing it with petrol, and setting it on fire.
The pump immediately ignited while the culprits fled the scene.
Upon seeing the flames, employees rushed to extinguish the fire using fire extinguishers, preventing what could have been a major disaster.
Police said that if the fire had not been extinguished quickly, it could have caused an explosion, engulfing the surrounding area within a three-mile radius.
An investigation is underway to identify the suspects.
