A car wash machine trapped a vehicle inside, causing it to topple over.
The driver, appearing to be in a hurry, attempted to move forward while the gantry was in operation, leading to a malfunction in Anhui, China, on December 30.
CCTV footage shows the machine spinning large bristles on the black sedan when the driver suddenly accelerated.
This caused the brushes to stop moving and stay in front of the vehicle, leaving the car stranded.
The motorist then reversed, causing the metal structure to overturn and hit the car's rear.
Local media reported that the driver did not sustain any serious injuries from the incident. However, he was ordered to pay for the cost of the damage to the car wash.
