The German Shepherd dog in a crate pawed at the electric fan to keep itself cool in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 12.
CCTV footage shows the canine clambering onto the railings of its enclosure and using its paw to lower the device, directing the airflow towards itself.
After successfully moving the appliance, it jumped back down from the crate and sat in the corner, enjoying the cool breeze.
