This is the shocking moment a huge chunk of flying snow smashes into a truck's windshield.
Dashcam footage from the Chase County Sheriff's Office shows a block of compacted snow flying off an oncoming vehicle and smashing into the truck's windscreen on US Highway 50 near Cedar Point, Kansas, on January 9.
The sheriff's office urged drivers to take extra precautions during the freezing winter weather.
They said: 'Folks, we can all do a little better at cleaning the snow and ice off of our vehicles before traveling.'
Reports indicated that the truck driver safely stopped the vehicle despite the incident but sustained minor cuts from the shattered glass.
