CCTV footage shows the motorist standing in front of his vehicle while refuelling at a CNG pump on the Bardoli Highway in India.
Suddenly, the gas nozzle unexpectedly came off, hitting the man in the face and causing him to fall due to the force of the impact.
A pump attendant and an onlooker helped him stand back up again at the gas station in Surat, Gujarat, on January 27.
Reports say the injured driver was admitted to the hospital for treatment to minor injuries. He demanded that the fuel station pay for the medical costs.
